The flight to Paro crosses the Himalayan Mountains, affording spectacular views of the awesome peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan, after the completion of check in formalities in airport. Guide and driver will escort to Thimphu. Depending on the time, the sightseeing includes - Folk Heritage museum, School of Art and crafts and Tashicho Dzong. Overnight in hotel.

The Bumthang sightseeing includes- Jakhar Dzong, 7th century Jambay Lhagang, Kurji monastery, Tamshing monastery, Swiss farm.

Lhuntse is most isolated district is the ancestral home of Royal family. The places on the way to Lhuntse- Autsho and Tangmachu. Visit Lhuntse Dzong, Dungkar Nagshang and Gangzur village.
Distance - 68 kms; Time - 3 hrs.
Lhuntse altitude - 1440m (ASL)
All the same route back to Mongar and visit Mongar Dzong and Mongar town.

The drive same route until Ura and by new bypass road avoiding Bumthang. The views along the way will make you stop many times as this is an another stunning scenic drive.

Morning drive to Paro. In Paro visit - Iron chain bridge, National museum, Rimpong Dzong, Wooden cantilever bridge and stroll in local market at leisure.
Punakha to Paro - 115kms, Time - 3.5 hrs.
Taktsang the tiger nest monastery is the most iconic and sacred Buddhist site in the World. It is dramatically perched on sheer cliff face, about 900 m above the Paro valley. It is one of the most beautiful hiking trail for its pristine forest and views.
Hiking distance ( round trip) approximately 6kms/3.7miles. Time 5 to 6 hrs including guided tour in monastery.
After hike, visit Drukgyel Dzong, 7th century temple, local market. Suggestion- hot stone bath in village.
